Shipping and Receiving Associate - 1st Shift

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Associate
• Pay Rate: $20.00-$22.00/hr
• Location: Saint Paul, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6AM-4PM with mandatory overtime.
• Position Type: Temp to Hire
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Prior experience in Shipping & Receiving.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus but not required – Entry Level.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Receiving Operations:
• Inspect Incoming Shipments: Verify that delivered goods match the purchase orders and packing slips.
• Quality Control: Check for damages, defects, or shortages; document and report any discrepancies immediately.
• Unloading: Safely unload trucks using manual labor, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
• Inventory Logging: Enter received data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and route items to their designated storage locations.
Shipping Operations:
• Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer invoices.
• Labeling & Documentation: Generate shipping labels, Bill of Lading (BOL), and customs documentation for international orders.
• Carrier Coordination: Schedule pickups with carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL) and ensure all outgoing cargo is properly secured.
• Packaging: Select appropriate containers and packing materials to minimize transit damage.
